Big things are happening at East Kilbride Community Trust — and we need your support!

We’re thrilled to announce our latest initiative: fundraising for a brand-new K-Woodlands Base. This will be more than just a building — it will be a vibrant, inclusive space at the heart of the community. A place where children and adults alike can come together to learn, grow, connect, and unwind.

The new K-Woodlands Base will serve as a multi-purpose hub designed to meet the needs of our diverse and growing community. We envision:

• A dedicated indoor space to host year-round workshops, environmental education sessions, family events, and wellbeing programmes — no matter the weather.

• A community garden where local residents can get hands-on with nature, learn about sustainable growing, and enjoy the benefits of fresh air, teamwork, and homegrown produce.

• A welcoming drop-in centre for volunteers, families, and visitors — a place for hot drinks, warm conversations, and community connection.

• Improved facilities for hosting larger events like our popular Halloween celebration, school holiday activities, and volunteering days.

We believe K-Woodlands should be accessible and inviting to everyone — a space where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities feel valued and supported.

But we can’t do it without you. That’s why we’re reaching out to our amazing community — the people who already make K-Woodlands so special. If you believe in what we’re doing, here’s how you can help:
